Cycle Led Rides in Purbeck (Coming soon)
As part of what we do, we provide expert led rides across the country, and are proud to able to offer the opportunity to do this in the beautiful Isle of Purbeck. Each led ride will take in some of Purbeck’s most sustainable destinations, breath
taking views and unique trails. There is something for everyone-so no matter what your cycling ability, there will a ride for you.

Blue Pool
A entirely paved terrain ride heading along cycle paths and quiet roads to the stunning destination of The Blue Pool near Furzebrook. This route is mainly flat on tarmacked roads, with some gentle slopes.
Distance: 10.8 km (6.7 miles) OR 23.1 km (14.4 miles)
Start/finish point: Wareham Station OR Purbeck Park
Bike required: Any (e.g. mountain, hybrid, road, gravel, hand cycle, recumbent)
Surface: Road
Terrain: Mostly flat with gentle slopes
Difficulty: Easy

Arne
An entirely flat route on quiet roads towards the local RSPB Nature Reserve, RSPB Arne, famous for its conservation of rare lowland heathland habitat and is one of the only places left in the UK where all 6 native species of reptile can be found.
Distance: 15.4 km (9.6 miles) OR 14.1 km (8.8 miles)

Sika Trail, Wareham Forest
A well-marked route that takes in some of the best off-road riding that Wareham Forest has to offer. The route is a figure of eight so can be made shorter or longer depending on the ability of the group. Terrain is mostly flat, with loose gravel.
Distance: 11.7 km (7.3 miles)
Bike required: Mountain, gravel, hybrid
Surface: Off road
Terrain: Mostly flat with some short slopes
Difficulty: Medium

Burnbake
This is a friendly campsite tucked away in the heart of the Purbeck Forest. A mixture of off-road and tarmacked terrain leads you to this secluded spot, which has some fantastic riding around it in its own right. This destination is also just a few miles from the iconic sandy coastline of Studland, which is owned by the National Trust.
