Looking for ways to keep the kids entertained, especially during the school holidays? Durlston Country Park has a brilliant programme of family-friendly events and activities, from creative crafts and wildlife-themed trails to hands-on learning with rangers.

Many activities are free, others cost just £3.50 per child, with a few special events priced slightly higher.

🏴‍☠️ Pirates of Purbeck! Children’s Trail

11–20 February | 10:00am–5:00pm

Ahoy, me hearties! Follow this self-led trail around the park to uncover the stories of Purbeck’s pirates and learn more about their daring past.

🎨 Wild Wednesdays

Drop in to the Learning Centre for a fun mix of painting, crafts and nature-based activities. Perfect for creative kids who love getting hands-on.

Wild Wednesdays run every Wednesday during the school holidays and are free to take part, although donations (cash or card) are very welcome.
