Autism Friendly Day at Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre near Wareham, Dorset

Autism Friendly Day

To ensure that Monkey World is a great day out – for all!

You will be able to access the park an hour before public opening time, at 9am. All gates will be open so there will be very little in the way of queueing. Our staff have been briefed and are aware of additional needs. There is no need to pre-book. Normal entrance fees will apply. Please bring appropriate DLA/ PIP documentation to benefit from essential carers free entry.  There is a calm room available for use all day if you need to get away from the main park.

To ensure as many people can take advantage of this as possible, the slots will be pre-bookable only. Available on the 27th April, 14th June and 7th August. Book online at www.monkeyworld.org/book-tickets/ for the 9am slot ONLY.   If you still want to enjoy the day without taking part in the early entry, please use the 9am slot anyway- you can then enter at any point in the day.

Monkey World provides sanctuary to over 260 rescued and endangered primates of 25 different species. The expert team of primate care staff rehabilitate and integrate the animals into natural living groups. The park is open every day to visitors, and provides fun and education to people of all ages.

Online ticket prices from 17.00 adult / 12.75 child / 48 for family ticket
