Dates: 5th – December – 4th January
Join Monty and Matilda on a festive quest around Corfe Castle. Search for seasonal scenes and discover where these adventurous characters have visited at other National Trust properties this year.

✨ Winter Lights at Corfe Castle

Dates: 13th & 19th December
Experience the ruins of Corfe Castle bathed in warm, glowing lights under the stars. Gather around fire pits to toast marshmallows while enjoying the magical ambiance. Braziers and festoon lights illuminate the paths — bring a torch for the walk from the car park and to navigate uneven ground. 4-7 pm

Dates: 19th – 31st December (closed 24th–26th December)
Relax and enjoy winter warmth in the seasonal setting of the castle. Natural decorations from across the Purbeck estate adorn the ruins, and fire pits are available to toast marshmallows (additional charges apply for marshmallows).

✂️ Christmas Crafts at the Castle

Dates: 20th – 23rd December
Take part in relaxed crafting activities in the castle lodge, ideal for children and grown-ups. All materials are provided to make a festive keepsake before heading back out to explore. 10 am – 3 pm

🌅 Winter Solstice at Corfe Castle

Date: 21st December
Celebrate the shortest day of the year with the rare opportunity to watch the sunrise over East Hill from the castle ruins. Explore the ruins and stay cozy around a fire pit roasting marshmallows in the Outer Bailey. Bring a camping chair for added comfort.
