Watch Father Christmas arrive in Wareham!

Wareham’s annual Christmas Parade to celebrate the arrival of Father Christmas takes place from 3 pm on Sunday 10th December 2023.

With the official lighting of the Christmas Tree, live entertainment on the cross near Wareham Town Hall, a fun parade of Christmas themed floats including the arrival of Father Christmas. After the parade there’s a Christmas Grotto for children.

The parade starts around 3-4 pm, starting from the top of North Street.

A Christmas themed weekend for Wareham!

Wareham has a packed weekend of Christmas events on the whole weekend! As well as the Christmas Parade on the Sunday there is also lots of events on Saturday the 9th December. This includes a Christmas Market, organised by Wareham Town Council on North Street, a Christmas Craft day with Santa at Not Just Sundaes and a Christmas Concert in the evening with the Poole and Parkstone Singers at the Corn Exchange, organised by Love It Local Purbeck magazine.
