Creative Clay Workshop Insect Homes

Be inspired by nature, in nature at Careys Secret Garden

Be inspired by nature, in nature!

During this wonderful workshop, under expert tuition, you will be inspired by your natural surroundings in the stunning walled garden at Careys Secret Garden to make a unique bug home in clay. You can look at and be inspired by Barbara Hepworth’s sculptures. A 20th-century sculptor who was inspired by nature creating organic forms.

You can pop your beautiful clay sculpture in your garden to support our pollinators, increase biodiversity and give them somewhere cosy to stay.

Your piece will be taken away to be kiln-fired and approx. two weeks later you can come back to the garden to collect your items and visit the garden again.

Your ticket includes admission to Careys Secret Garden on the day of the workshop.

You don’t need to bring anything with you, everything will be provided, all you need is a dash of creativity and a sprinkle of inspiration! You may want to bring an apron or old shirt to cover your clothes.
