Forage, feast & formulas: A one day functional fungi workshop

Join us for an immersive day exploring the fascinating world of medicinal mushrooms. You’ll be welcomed with a nourishing lion’s mane cacao or coffee before diving into the history, folklore and science behind these powerful fungi, and their growing role in modern wellbeing. Led by Andy from Jurassic Coast Mushrooms, you’ll learn about native species, sustainable foraging, and the incredible benefits of the fungi growing right here in our local landscape.

After sampling some delicious mushroom-based treats, we’ll head into the woods to see what the season has to offer, learning how to identify, harvest and work with wild fungi safely and responsibly. Back at Happy River, enjoy a nourishing fungi-inspired lunch before getting hands-on: inoculating your own mushroom log to take home, learning how to preserve and prepare mushrooms, and creating your own dual-extracted tincture to support health and vitality. A deeply grounding and educational day connecting you to nature, food, and the powerful world of fungi.
