Illuminate at The Blue Pool

A wonderful evening of lights, colour and entertainment!

The Blue Pool Illuminate event is an opportunity to experience a wonderful evening of lights, colour and entertainment. A popular event to brighten any Winter’s evening!

Following on from the success of previous years there will be additional woodland sections, waterside lights to music and displays to enjoy for 2024 at the Blue Pool Illuminate. 

Over 1 km of professionally staged illuminations at The Blue Pool

Over 1km of professionally staged illuminations, lighting the meandering woodland trails around the Blue Pool. Glimpse the beautiful deep waters of the Pool and the ancient woodland whilst stopping at carefully selected positions along the way to relax and enjoy this unique setting.

Tea Rooms and Licensed Bar

The warm and welcoming Art Deco Tea rooms will be open throughout the evening with a licensed bar, hot food, marshmallows for melting and much more.

When can you see the Blue Pool Illuminate near Wareham in Purbeck, Dorset?

The event is taking place from the 11th January – 25th February 2024 on Thursday – Sunday (Open every day for half term February 11th – 17th). From 4.30 pm – 8.00 pm (different time slots available). Annual Members of The Blue Pool can access Illuminate for free. Please contact the Blue Pool to arrange access.

Accessibility: Access around the trails is suitable for wheelchairs but please be aware this is a wooded trail with uneven ground.

Dogs Welcome: Dogs welcome on leads.

Parking: Parking for the event is free but limited. Please arrive at your chosen time slot to save congestion.

The event closes at 8pm with last entry onto the light trail 30 mins before closing.

Tickets: Adult £17.50 plus 1.81 booking fee / Child: 8.50 plus 1.18 booking fee.
