Mindful Weaving Workshop

A beginner-friendly craft workshop at the lovely Careys Secret Garden near Wareham, Dorset

Take some time out for a spot of slow crafting. In this creative workshop you’ll be using surplus textiles to make your own colourful God’s eye. It’s a chance to play with colour and texture and unwind with the calming motions of weaving.  The session starts with a wander through the garden. You’ll forage for twigs for your woven masterpiece, then settle in to experiment with yarn, fabric and beads to create your weaving. Tutor Becca from To Be Adorned is a fibre artist and will walk you through each step of the process including learning how to make yarn tassels to decorate your weaving.

This is a beginner-friendly craft workshop. All the necessary materials are supplied and your ticket includes a hot drink from the coffee shop.

What to bring: All materials will be provided. Please wear suitable footwear for exploring the garden.
