Fantastic news!! We’re back! We are very proud and excited to announce our Autumn term details including our next concert! We have called our concert this term “Women of Note” – Celebrating 200 years of female composers to include Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel, Clara Schumann, Cecilia McDowell, Helen Ostafew and Eleanor Daley.
If this is not enough to get your musical juices flowing we are also very excited to announce that the amazing Grace Lovelass will be our guest soloist once again!
Join the Choir
We are very keen to attract some new voices into the Choir this year so we are offering 2 free taster sessions (Rehearsals) so that anyone new to the choir, or returning after a break from it, can come along and sing with us for our first two rehearsals before deciding whether to join us for the whole term – A kind of “Sing before you Sign” if you will. Our rehearsals start on Thursday 7th September at 6.30pm at St Mary’s Primary School (Northbrook Road, Swanage, BH19 1QE) with the usual season start social for half an hour followed by singing between 7.00 and 8.30pm. Feel free to come along and give us a go, or bring someone new with you.
The concert will be on Saturday 25th November at St Mary’s Church, Swanage. Ticket prices to be confirmed.
