Purbeck Valley Folk Festival
Purbeck Valley Folk Festival returns to Dorset from 20–23 August, bringing four days of live music, family fun, creativity and community spirit to a beautiful farm setting overlooking the Purbeck Hills and Corfe Castle. This year’s line-up features acclaimed artists including Eddi Reader, Baskery, Martha Tilston, Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys and many more, with performances across five stages celebrating folk, roots and world music.
Renowned as one of the South Coast’s most family-friendly festivals, Purbeck Valley offers far more than music. Visitors can enjoy a huge range of included children’s activities, from circus skills, storytelling and treasure hunts to archery, climbing walls and dinosaur adventures, alongside hands-on craft workshops such as pottery, willow weaving and stone carving. With ceilidhs, comedy, fire shows, healing spaces and camping included in weekend tickets from £150, it’s a welcoming summer festival with something for all ages.
