Step aboard a 1950s or 60s heritage carriage, settle back into your seat, and let the steam locomotive whisk you through the Purbeck countryside. On this 70-minute round trip from Norden station, you’ll enjoy a piping hot fish & chips meal, a refreshing bottle of water, and a sweet baked treat for the return journey.

Join Swanage Railway and The Irregular Special Players for an interactive Sherlock Holmes-inspired murder mystery. Arrive to a glass of prosecco (or soft drink) before stepping aboard either a 1930s Maunsell coach or the Devon Belle Observation Car.
As the train travels the line, you’ll witness the crime unfold, search for clues, interrogate suspects, and enjoy a cream tea before returning to Swanage to unmask the culprit. A truly unique afternoon of theatre, food, and rail travel.
