What’s on at the Mowlem Theatre in Swanage!

The Sad Club –Presented by the Swanage School

Thu 7th March 2024

Join The Swanage School’s cast as the ‘The Sad Club’ on a musical rollercoaster ride of life, love and family relationships as they navigate teenage angst. With music, bold writing and laugh-out-loud comedy, The Sad Club tells the tale of growing up in a collection of monologues, songs and duologues from all over time and space exploring what about living in this world stops us from being happy and how we might go about tackling those problems.

The Sad Club is performed by The Swanage School’s talented young actors as part of the National Theatre’s Connections programme. Connections gives young people across the country the chance to perform plays that are hard-hitting, current and relevant, by some of theatre’s most exciting new writers.

Written by Luke Barnes with music by Adam Pleeth. Directed by Harry Peake.

Tickets 5.00 plus booking fee
