There’s plenty happening at the Wild Seas Centre this spring, with family-friendly events, rockpool adventures and Easter specials at one of Dorset’s best seashore wildlife sites.

🦀 Rockpool Ramble – Easter Special

Wednesday 1 April 2026 | 2:00–3:30pm

Join one of our wardens for a guided wander along Kimmeridge Bay at low tide, discovering the fascinating wildlife living in Dorset’s best rockpooling spot.
This Easter special will focus on spotting eggs laid by marine creatures in rockpools and along the shoreline, while learning how to explore responsibly by following the Seashore Code.

🐚 Easter Eggcase Hunt at Kimmeridge

Friday 3 April 2026 | 2:30–4:00pm

What does a mermaid keep in her purse? Find out on this Easter egg hunt with a difference!
Help us search the beach for empty eggcases (also known as mermaid’s purses), learn where they come from, how to identify them, and how recording your finds can help marine conservation.

⭐ Kimmeridge Seashore Challenge

Sunday 5 April 2026 | 12:00–4:00pm

Are you a crab, starfish or octopus? Drop in to the Wild Seas Centre and take on a series of fun seashore challenges designed to help you discover the wildlife of Kimmeridge Bay. Complete the activities to earn your seashore award!

To take part, you’ll need to hire a Seashore Explorer Pack, which contains everything you need.
