Farmshop
Evolving from a small shed selling eggs over 40 years ago, Norden Farm Shop was completely refurbished in 2014 and is now a large, bright and exceptionally well-stocked farm shop and mini garden centre. The shop is open 7 days a week, all year round and has ample car parking. It caters for a wide variety of camping needs as well as livestock, equestrian and pet products. The shop also has an extensive stock of local biscuits, cakes, jams and chutneys, dairy produce, meat, ice cream, ciders, wine, spirits and more! The shop receives a daily delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables, milk and bakery items. There is also a regular stock of fresh meat and eggs available. In addition to this, shelves are stacked with essentials such as toiletries, cereals, ready meals, tinned goods, frozen food and sweet treats. There is a large display of seasonal plants in the canopy and mini garden centre. The gardening section also includes a selection of seeds, hanging baskets, summer and winter bedding, composts, pots, supplements, gloves and tools fit for all of your green-fingered needs! The barn is stacked with everything from milk powder and livestock growers to poultry corn and hay bales. Inside, you will also find accessories such as poultry feeders, dog toys and worming supplements, along with different varieties of bird seed and a whole wall dedicated to domestic pet feeds. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, staff will always be happy to order it in for you. For those staying on the campsite, the shop has an extensive selection of hardware to prepare for unexpected weather or broken equipment. The camping corner has essentials like sleeping bags and air mattresses, as well as windbreaks, fuses, extension cables, portable heaters and so much more. Norden also offers a gas cannister exchange service, sells logs, coal and kindling, and can hire fire pits for cosy evenings under the stars.
Campsite
The campsite site is open from March 1st to October 31st (weather permitting)and boasts a play park, fishing pond and wonderful farm animals. Norden is the ideal site for families with young children, and grown-ups that are still kids at heart! The site is within one mile of the world-famous village of Corfe Castle and the ancient market town of Wareham is only 3.5 miles away. Studland Bay and the seaside town of Swanage can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
Norden Cottage & Norden House
Norden Farm Cottage is an idyllic, traditional holiday cottage nestled in the heart of the Norden estate. With a private, self-contained garden and patio area, this is the perfect place for a Dorset getaway. Overlooking the Purbeck hills and countryside, the cottage comfortably sleeps four and facilities include a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, free WiFi and Freeview TV. Norden House: Norden House is a self-catering holiday let that comfortably sleeps fourteen in seven bedrooms. The old Georgian farmhouse is situated on the Norden estate within its own grounds and overlooks the ruins of nearby Corfe Castle. The house has ample private parking and offers spacious downstairs living areas. There is a double room downstairs with disabled access and an en-suite wet room. Upstairs, all six bedrooms (four doubles, two twins) are a generous size with TVs and en-suites. In the kitchen, there is a large dual-fuel cooker with a double oven and grill, integral oven and microwave, dishwasher, American-style fridge freezer, coffee machine, wine cooler and bar-style island. Norden House has an all-weather pavilion in the garden that can comfortably seat twenty people. There is also plenty of comfortable seating on the patio to enjoy the views of Corfe Castle and the surrounding countryside.
