Hop aboard the Sunset Shuttle – Swanage Railway’s nostalgic evening diesel train service that glides through some of Dorset’s most beautiful countryside between Swanage, Herston Halt, Harman’s Cross, Corfe Castle, and on selected evenings, Norden.
This laid-back evening journey is your ticket to golden hour views, charming villages, local events, and unforgettable memories. Whether you’re heading out for dinner, drinks, fireworks, or just soaking in the stunning landscape – the Sunset Shuttle is the stress-free way to travel.
🚆 What is the Sunset Shuttle?
A heritage diesel train experience running on selected evenings from late July to early September, the Sunset Shuttle offers unlimited evening travel for one low fare. Operated entirely by passionate Swanage Railway volunteers, it’s ideal for couples, families, solo adventurers, and festivalgoers alike.
